Q - Can I paint a steel door to match the color of my house?

A - Yes. Overhead Door recommends that you wash the exterior of the door with a mild detergent solution and rinse with clear water. Wipe the surface when dry with a liquid deglosser according to the manufacturer's instructions. Finish with a premium Acrylic Latex paint. Never use an oil-based paint.

Q - The spring on my door is broken, can the door be repaired?

A - Yes. The springs on your door can be replaced but it is recommended that you call an experienced service technician to perform the repair. Removing and replacing the springs is dangerous work and best left to trained professionals.

Q - Just the bottom section of my door is damaged, do I have to replace the entire door?
