BENJAMIN Y. ENGEL is the President/Owner of J.F. Cook Co., Inc. Ben acquired Cook in March 2010 and is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the company. Prior to acquiring Cook, Ben was with Generation Growth Capital, Inc. (GGC), a Wisconsin based private equity fund focused on buyouts and providing growth capital to small business and low middle market companies. He was responsible for portfolio company management, financial modeling, industry research and due diligence. Preceding Cook & GGC, Ben held various positions with M&I Bank for over 8 years. Ben has been involved with the Milwaukee community by organizing and assisting with activities that promote financial literacy and homeownership. He currently serves on the following community boards: ACTS Housing Corp, (President) and Wisconsin Better Business Bureau. Engel graduated from University Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Finance.
STEVE GETZIN is the Commercial Door Manager of J.F. Cook Co., Inc, managing commercial door service and install. He is also responsible for co-ordination of materials and supplies for the job, maintaining productivity at the job site & job reports and/or field documentation as required. Steve has over 25 years experience in commercial service and install. He has serviced thousands of doors over his career. Specializing in: Electrical troubleshooting, hospital entrance doors, LINAC radiation doors, gates, automation & field service.
ROBIN N. REESE is the Sales & Marketing Manager of J.F. Cook Co., Inc., overseeing all aspects of sales, marketing, customer and public relations operations within the company. Prior to joining Cook, Robin was the Administration and Properties Manager for a general contracting firm in Milwaukee. She has several years experience in construction, sales, marketing and customer service, holding various positions in companies such as the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Time Warner Cable, and Manpower International Headquarters. Robin currently serves on the Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee’s board of directors. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Marketing and later received her Master of Business Administration degree from Cardinal Stritch University.
