Window Showcase
The Grain Exchange Window Project
Until
recently, the Grain Exchange Building was used as commercial office
space and was conveniently located in central downtown Milwaukee.
With a growing demand for loft space, the buildng has gone through
a major renovation converting the old structure, built in the
early 1900's, to modern residential living units with underground
parking.
The J.F. Cook Company was chosen to replace over
300 windows and patio doors to complement the existing brick exterior.
The specially designed windows were supplied by the TRACO window
company, a leader in the manufacturing of aluminum windows and
doors.
